The top colleges in Arunachal Pradesh are the Institute of Communication and Information Technology and Arunachal Pradesh Polytechnic and Mizoram Engineering College. For the Travel Tourism and Hotel Management course, Arunachal Pradesh Polytechnic is the institute for it. Other colleges are Don Bosco College, Dera Natung Government College and Rang Frah Government College. The mentioned colleges are affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University in the state.
There are two major universities in the state- Rajiv Gandhi Universit and North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology. Rajiv University is located in Rono Hills, Itanagar and offers under graduate, post graduate and doctoral programs in various subjects like education, geography, commerce and many more. NERIST is administered by Government of India, MHRD, AICTE and seven states in North East region and distinguished educationist.
