Tilkamanjhi Bhagalpur University is located at Bhagalpur and is a teaching-cum-affiliating educational institution.

Educational Streams
This university conducts BA (Honors) in subjects such as Hindi, Political Science, History, Economics, Sanakrit, Philosophy, Mathematics, Bangla, Sanskrit, Maithili, Persian, Geography and Sociology. They also conduct BSc (Honors) in Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, Physics and Math.
The Vocational courses at Honors level in degree are BCA, the Bachelor of Computer Application, Biotechnology as well as Functional Hindi. BCA Admissions and Biotechnology admissions are completely on the basis of Entrance Test.
However, in Functional Hindi, students are taken on the performance basis in the qualifying examinations. Conversely, admissions to all courses in BSc and BA (Hons) are done exclusively on the basis of individual qualifying examinations.
Facilities
Tilkamanjhi Bhagalpur University provides accommodation for male students in its hostels having names as West Block Hostel, Ashwini East Block Hostel, Krishna Hostel, U.G.C. Hostel and Welfare Hostel.
A girl’s hostel is also built taking the assistance from UGC, the University Grants Commission. This university also has features such as Auditorium, Canteen and Stadium.
The placement cell assists its students in locating jobs after their completion of individual courses. This university library has a two storeyed building with individual and well furnished reading rooms for the students as well as teachers. There are thousands of text books, journals and reference books available in this library.
