Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University is established by Government of NCT as a teaching and affiliating university.
This university is classified as A Grade and has been awarded ISO certification by testing, standardization and quality certification directorate, Government of India, Ministry of Communication as well as Information Technology.
Scope
This university has its campus spread over a wide area of over 16 acres and has also taken possession of more areas of land measuring to 60 acres at west Delhi.
This additional area is to establish another campus in East Delhi. Apart from this, the area opposite Surajmal Vihar measuring to 19 acres is also being acquired for more educational setups.
Within a period of eight years, the presence of this university has gained popularity and it runs over 60 programs in 8 University schools and 86 Institutes for self-financing.
