Educational Streams
Gujarat University offers courses for undergraduate, postgraduate, doctorate, diploma and certificate in diverse fields. They facilitate their students during admissions to courses that demand merit in entrance tests or qualifying examination.
This university was confined to conventional academic courses in the initial stages. However, later it took charge of the vocational as well as professional courses.
Now, the university imparts education in an array of subjects such as Computer Application, Journalism, Business Administration, Mass Communication, Library Science, etc. Certificate, Diploma and Study Abroad programs are available.
Facilities
Gujarat University offers facilities such as Library, Health centre, Canadian study centre, Reading Centre and Women’s Development Cell. An Employment Bureau is also located within the campus to assist students in finding employment. There are programs for Youth Welfare and is found to be of immense help in aiding the students.
There are individual hostels for boys as well as girls. Canteen, Sports Complex, NRS Hall, Internet Access Centre and Air Theatre are some of the other facilities easily available and accessible in the campus.
