Kerala is located in the southern part of India and has fourteen districts. The name of the state is widely popular because it has been mentioned several times in the Maharabhata epic.

One of the colleges in Kerala is the Trivandrum Medical College, which was founded in the year 1951 and is the most prominent college in the state. There are many institutions and hospitals here such as the Regional Cancer Center, College of Nursing and a Dental College. Trivandrum Medical College is an associate of the University of Kerala.

CMS College is the first college ever built in the country of India. This college provided free education to all its students until the year 1855. The college’s motto is “Thy Word is Truth.” In 1999, the National Assessment and Accreditation Council recognized CMS College with a five-star rank.

In 2004, the University Grants Commission gave its most recent honor, which is the College with Potential for Excellence award. Now, after several years of operation, the college has a total of 14 departments and offers 47 different courses.
