Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology is located in Bhopal and was established in 1960.
In the beginning stages this institute began in the name of Maulana Azad College of Technology.
This educational institution is honored with the institute of National importance status. It is spread over a land area of 650-acre.
This technology institute in Bhopal is established in union by the Government of Madhya Pradesh and India. MANIT Bhopal is also announced to be a Deemed University.
Courses
The Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology undergraduate courses include engineering fields namely, civil, electrical, mechanical, electronics and communication, metallurgical and material science, computer science, industrial and production. The other courses are also many and offers a wide choice.
Post graduate courses in M Tech or ME includes a series of courses and to name a few are designing and production engineering in thermal power plant machinery, hydro electric power plant machinery, heavy electrical equipment, maintenance, energy, environmental, and the list is endless. Besides, there are courses offered M Sc mathematics, business administration and computer applications.
The doctorate courses include electrical engineering, information technology, chemistry, architecture and planning, electronics, applied mechanics, and many more.
Eligibility:
- The candidates applying for undergraduate courses are considered to be eligible on passing their Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent examination.
- Candidates for post graduation courses must be a degree holder from some recognized university.
- Aspirants having bachelor’s degree and mathematics as a subject in 10 +2 as well and has secured high marks are considered as eligible for MCA.
- MBA graduation is offered to graduate candidates and even people appearing their final year exams can apply.
- Candidates applying for doctorate should have a master’s degree in their respective subjects and should have secured 55% marks.
Admission Procedure:
Admission is given to undergraduate aspirants on the basis of AIEEE. Post graduate admission is given on the basis of GATE. Admission for MCA is based on NIMCET program and the MBA program demands their candidates to take CAT exams and to clear the group discussion as well as personal interview. Doctorate admissions are based on the entrance test as well as interview. |
