Symbiosis International University is a co-educational, private multi-institutional educational university sited in Pune, Maharashtra.
This university is officially recognized by the AICTE and the UGC. Grade A was conferred by NAAC to this university and was well-managed by the managing body.
Dr. S. B. Mujumdar promoted the society and developed an understanding between foreign and Indian students.

Educational Streams
Symbiosis University offers graduate, diploma and postgraduate programs in all disciplines. The constituent institutes function as independent units and offer the best education. Some of the undergraduate courses offered are BBA, BALLB, BCA, B.Sc-MT, etc.
Postgraduate courses such as MBA, LLM, MCA, MBA-IT, ITI, besides Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication are available in the University.
Admission
This university conducts entrance test for various courses to acquire admission. The written test is common and is a must to seek admission to undergraduate institutes. The written test has to be cleared and this is mandatory to seek admission in undergraduate courses.
Conversely, symbiosis has an independent process of selection after the entrance test. They also conduct a SNAP test that comprises of 160 objective questions and each wrong answer has 25% negative marks. The admission process is quite stringent.

Symbiosis provides all modern facilities and offers high-tech and advanced amenities. The campus is equipped with high-speed internet and other facilities such as TV and VCR for educational purposes.
