Shri Jagannath Sanskrit Vishvavidyalaya ranks to be the third Sanskrit university in the entire country, India.

History
Shri Jagannath Sanskrit Vishvavidyalaya was instituted in the year 1981. Earlier, this university showed a tremendous growth in the courses offered as well as in its infrastructure developments. Hence, the university was shifted from a small room to its existing spacious campus sited in Puri.
