MNIT (Malaviya National Institute of Technology) is a prestigious institute governed under the HRD ministry by the NIT council.
This was founded in 1963 and was a joint effort of the State Government as well as the Government of India.
Malaviya National Institute was awarded the Deemed university status in 2002 and the prominence increased to all levels at it imparts courses in undergraduate as well as postgraduate levels in the field of engineering.

Eligibility
The undergraduate candidates are eligible for admission on passing their 10 + 2 or Higher secondary exams from a repute board having subjects mathematics, physics and chemistry. However, the admission for undergraduate depends on the AIEEE exam results best score.
Candidates completing degree from any of the renowned university or institute can apply for post graduate admission. The GATE score is highly considered for admission.
