Courses & Eligibility
The National Law University offers courses for undergraduate programs that are integrated as five year programs in law as B.A.LLB, B.S.C.LLB and B.B.A.LLB. The aspirants who have cleared their 10 +2 exams with a recognized institution or board with aggregate 50% marks are considered to be eligible for undergraduate courses.
However, admission are made depending on the National entrance test that conducts test to verify the linguistic ability, quantum of information, legal reasoning, mathematical aptitude, analytical skills and aptitude to learn law. Preliminary psychological ability tests are also included.
The Post graduate courses programs differ in the semesters conducted such as the Management and Law have six semesters, the Intellectual property law program has four semesters, while MBA in Insurance is a program with five semesters.
Students looking for post graduate degree admission should be a graduate from any discipline with an aggregate of 55% marks. However, a degree with 60% aggregate is only considered for Intellectual property Law regardless of the discipline.
Conversely, LLB degree holders with 55% are considered eligible to attend the entrance test. The percentage of marks secured and the tests conducted are the key score to seek admission in this university.
Admissions are given taking into consideration the marks secured in the National entrance test and the students keen in competing such courses are given an opportunity to compete in all the other courses.
