Government Schools in Hyderabad

Schools in Hyderabad include private and government schools. Apart from these there are convent schools and residential schools as well. Hyderabad government schools are mainly to offer facility to the lower income strata families’ children.

However, Hyderabad district authority is also working and planning to raise the standards of government schools in Hyderabad by introducing international infrastructure as well as by introducing new teaching methodologies.

The authority is also planning to charge nominal fees so that they can enable digital learning, employ computer faculty for full time and provide LCD projectors and Digital boards.

Government schools in Hyderabad are existing since many years and are teaching students, offering free education, uniform, books and stationary. However, in the recent times, the authority is planning to keep the student teacher ratio to 1:25 and also to include extra curricular activities so that they participate in other events as well.

Conversely, the government of Hyderabad has sanctioned Rs. 2 to 4 lakh for each school to elevate their present conditions and the selected schools are Gannu Police Boys High School, Govt.High school-Amberpet and other high schools at Banjara Hills, Gandhi Bhavan, Hyderguda, Vijayanagar Colony, Humayun Nagar, Nallakunta, Ameerpet, Vengalrao Nagar, Kachiguda, Malakpet, City Model, Langer Houze, Borabanda, Film Nagar, Musheerabad, Yousufguda, West Marredpally and Seethaphalmandi.
