Tamil Nadu Agricultural University provides undergraduate as well as postgraduate degree programs in seven campuses and 10 colleges all over the state. This university has over 30 research stations mainly to develop agro-technology.

Faculties
The faculties of this university includes agricultural based subjects and courses such as agricultural entomology, economics, microbiology, agronomy, meteorology, microbial technology, crop physiology, plant breeding, genetics, seed science, plant pathology, sericulture, agricultural chemistry, soil science, and many more courses.
The horticulture faculty offers courses in fruit science, spices, plantation crops, vegetable science, medicinal crops and floriculture. There is faculty of forestry also available in this university.
